Magritte and The son of Man

Hello partners!
This class we must tell about our favorite artist, it really is a very complicated choice, since obviously we all have several artists that we like; Well, at least that's the way it is for me. Despite this, I have one that stands out above the others, that is the Belgian artist René Magritte.
René Magritte was a Belgian surrealist painter born on November 21, 1898 Lessines and died on August 15, 1967. Known for his witty and provocative images, he pretended with his work to change the preconditioned perception of reality and force the observer to become hypersensitive to its surroundings.
Magritte endowed Surrealism with a conceptual charge based on the play of ambiguous images and their meaning denoted through words, calling into question the relationship between a painted object and a real one.
It has always seemed incredible to me how he dislocates reality and the common perception about things, the way in which he perplexes the subjects with his work, alluding to the more unknown side of things or situations.
It is a little thanks to this artist that I am studying History of Art today, since it was in school when I became obsessed with his work and I wanted to know more about him and about the artists. It is so much that I love his work that I have one of his paintings tattooed on my arm, "The son of man".
