Our programs
Well, well, well, I like this topic, talking about what we would change to the study program seems interesting to me, especially if we think that we are finishing and sincerely ... I HATE THIS FACULTY.
It should be noted that the program of the race has already undergone several modifications, so the curriculum that I had is quite different from the ones that the boys who entered two years after me had.
Even so, I will speak only about my curriculum, since I do not know the new one well.
My curriculum is based on two areas: the history of art and aesthetics, which already leaves us with something to be desired, understanding that there are areas such as conservation and curatorship.
I had basic subjects until the second year, which included History of Art I, II, III and IV, the same with Texts of aesthetics, research medology (the most hated subject for the whole career) and other electives such as Psychoanalysis and Cognitive capitalism.
From third I had only elective seminars that "were supposed" should be oriented to the intention of studying the thesis ... something that clearly did not happen.
The study load was never terrible, I have always felt that we study much less than other careers.
Now comes the interesting part ... why do I hate this ability? for the infrastructure, it is precarious, and the procedures ... are hell, really far from what is the rest of the University of Chile. Even though I think it's satisfying to have some grass.
We use technology, we have projectors and those things, something that is highly necessary in a race like ours ... that only works with images.
As for teaching, there is everything ... good and bad teachers, some of whom we would make a monument to and others who copy ppts from other universities and in other languages xD

I think that both career needs more years for learn, it does not reach in four years maybe
